The Ski Schools - Winter

The French ski schools in both Chamonix and Argentière and the Panda Club in Argentière welcome children from 3 years upwards. Qualified instructors will take care of your little ones for full or half-days: ski lessons, lunch, games and supervision.

Winter

In winterin the French Alps, Chamonix is so much more than just a ski resort, and there really is something to suit all tastes in this lively alpine town. Apart from all the major sports events, there are a growing number of activities, performances and live bands organized by local business, which makes Chamonix a very busy town all year.

For those who prefer the peace and tranquility of the forest trails, there are many walking and snow-shoeing possibilities along the flanks of the valley close by to Les Houches.

An excellent sports complex offering swimming pools, climbing wall, squash, tennis, keep fit and spa facilities, not to mention a superb ice-rink. For the more adventurous there's tandem paragliding, or you could even try your hand at dog sled driving.

Chamonix Valley is the stage for world famous events such as the Ultra trail de Mont Blanc, the Kandahar alpine ski competition, the Nissan Outdoor Games, among others.

Apart being able to have a massage in the comfort in your own room, we can highly recommend the Thermal Spas.  This is a unique treasure in the heart of Valle d'Aosta. Pré-Saint-Didier Spa is a day spa where you can bathe in the warm thermal waters and choose to take a sauna, hammam, a Turkish bath or simply to have a relaxing massage. Only 10 minutes the other side of the Mont Blanc Tunnel there is a Free shuttle bus from Chamonix (from 7th January to 11th April - Mon to Fri) This is a 'must' for those in search of ultimate relaxation.

Enroll in a paragliding school or take a tandem flight, try the thrill of white water rafting or canyoning, and endless mountain bike trails, which are suitable for all levels.

You can also go fishing, horseback riding, hiking, mountaineering and white water rafting.

Maybe a round of Golf, at the Golf Club in Chamonix, or take a walk in some of Europe's most spectacular scenery.  Treat yourself to a little pamper and relaxation, and go for a massage, or beauty treatment.
