THE JOB:

A individual to help look after up to 10 guests in our luxury holiday chalet, in Chamonix from December 2010- April 2011.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

We require FRIENDLY, EXPERIENCED, RELIABLE, EASY GOING, RESPONSIBLE, HARD WORKING, HAPPY people.  Housekeeping experience is not essential provided you are meticulous with cleaning and tidiness. You must also be comfortable driving a large vehicle.  Have excellent customer service skills, be extremely trustworthy, have an outgoing personality, be able to talk comfortably with the guests, and genuinely like people!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will greet the guests upon arrival with mulled wine and freshly baked cakes, make them comfortable in their rooms, help them get their ski passes and equipment- don't worry, we will show you around first to ensure you are acquainted with everything and introduce you to locals in the resort.

Your basic daily routine: prep and serve cooked breakfast, clean chalet, chauffuer guests around the resort,  make cakes, and ensure the spa and log fire are ready for when guests return after skiing, serve 3 course gourmet dinner with wine, ensure guests are settled and happy before you leave them to it after dinner.

Your main responsibility is to ensure the guests are comfortable, have all they need and are very, very happy in the chalet. It is also extremely important both to us and to you that you feel at home and enjoy the season.

If you are well organised you will be able to ski most days. We encourage you to be friendly, yet unimposing with the guests - you will have a great time often joining the guests with a glass of wine in the evenings, and even skiing with them.

YOU are what makes the business work, and make people want to come back the following season, we absolutely rely on you for creating a relaxed and unique home from home atmosphere. We are also based in the Chamonix, and will offer you support - however we need to be able to trust you and prefer to let you just get on with it.

QUALIFICATIONS/ OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

English speaking a must, French an advantage. Actual qualifications not essential - we are far more interested in your experience, and you as a person.
