Bed and Breakfast - Chamonix

During the summer months, Chalet Anchorage is available as Bed & Breakfast accomodation.  We pride ourselves in providing delicious food, and great service in our beautiful traditional alpine chalet, which is set in a summer paradise, near to Les Houches, Chamonix, French Alps.

We serve a hearty breakfast, which will be your choice of either continental or cooked breakfast, with plenty to choose from, waffles, full english, or healthy freshly made fruit salad, with homemade muesili and jams. We can also provide evening meals for our guests, which can include instruction from Neil if you wish.

Apart from the Bed & Breakfast we also offer evening meals - so, if the thought of a sitting outside in the garden, or on our large terrace, with your friends and family, gazing up at Mont Blanc, and enjoying a Barbeque or perhaps a selection of fresh salads, using local producde.  We can arrange it all for you.

If you would like to enjoy lunch in one of the beautiful meadows near to Les Houches, or any of the other picturesque locations in Chamonix, we can prepare a homemade picnic hamper for you.

Or just enjoy the chalet and its beautiful surroundings, and relax, soak up the sun in the garden, and take a dip in the Jaccuzzi to cool off.  Or just wander through the garden into the woodland/forest behind us and take advantage of some great walks that the French Alps has to offer.

There are plenty of activities to keep you occupied whilst here in Chamonix, from Waking & Hiking, Climbing, Golf, Fishing, Mountain Biking, Paragliding, and if you prefer a slower pace we have the Pre saint Didier ancient roman spa, along with some award wining vineyards just through the Mont Blanc tunnel.....and many more activities to choose from......

Cookery School

Apart from Bed & Breakfast, you can also experience our Cookery School, where you can learn how to use and understand the local artisan specialities, and seasonal produce of the Savoie Alpine, French Alps region, and understand how to develop your own dishes and create beautiful settings for dining.
